Well, since some posts take ours to create it makes sense to achieve maximum exposure and reach by posting on the right time. This articles answers the general question when to post statistically and what is the right time for you and your business. 

When is the best time to post on Instagram?

Generally there is no perfect answer that suits everyone, because different accounts with different followers usually have an audience all over the world in different time zones. If your followers are in one time zone it might be best to post during the week at noon / midday, usually between 11 a.m and 2 p.m because many are on lunch break. 

Ideally you find out what works best for you and in order to do that you have to look at your own individual analytics. This is key when it comes to optimizing your posting times over time instead of following the general recommendation mentioned above, although they are a great starting point.

You can find this information by going to your Instagram profile, tapping the three horizontal lines in the top right corner, then tapping “Insights.” Under the “Audience” tab, you will see a section called “Activity” which will show the days and times when your audience is most active on the platform.

It’s also recommended to take a look at your engagement rate on your posts, you can see the best times when people interact with your content by looking at the engagement rates of each post.



Additionally, you can also use third-party analytics tools to track and analyze your Instagram engagement, they can provide more detailed data, and you can find the best posting time for your audience.

Keep in mind that your audience’s activity may change over time, so it’s always a good idea to periodically check your Insights and adjust your posting schedule accordingly.
